After the extremely successful second part of the solemn concerts on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the State Folklore Ensemble “Filip Koutev”, the pillar of Bulgarian folklore continued its national tour.
The magnificent artists from the Ensemble were guests for the first time in five years in their favorite cities in the month of April – Shumen, Veliko Tarnovo and Ruse, sharing with the wonderful audience the beauty, emotions and inspiration of their emblematic creativity. Their faithful friends from the local amateur or professional teams – DTA “Veselyache” and FTT “Nayden Kirov” joined their greeting.
In June, SFE “Filip Koutev” with a composition of over 80 people solemnly celebrated its anniversary in the summer theaters of the largest cities on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast – Varna (14.06), Dobrich (15.06) and Burgas (17.06). With a special participation in the two-hour concert program in the city of Dobrich, PFE “Dobrudzha” took part, and in the city of Burgas – PFE “Strandja”. On the summer stages in Varna and Dobrich, the winner of “The Voice of Bulgaria” – Petya Paneva – was a guest soloist.
On 02.07, the Ensemble headed to one of the most famous and sunniest resort towns in the Southwest – Sandanski. From 9:00 p.m., the air of the beautiful city park “Sveti Vrach” was filled with the unforgettable melodies from the musical and song repertoire of the Ensemble, and the stage of the Summer Theater was conquered by the masterful skills of the dance team in the performance of iconic creative productions. SFE “Filip Koutev” was a special guest of the city and realized the inimitable program of the jubilee concert-performance under the patronage of the mayor of Sandanski municipality – Mr. Atanas Slavchev.
