The National Folklore Ensemble “Philip Koutev” continues its 70th anniversary with a national tour
After the unique three bright concerts on the occasion of its 70th anniversary, which took place in the crowded Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture, the pillar of Bulgarian folklore – NFE “Philip Koutev”, launched a national tour.
Founded in 1951, the Ensemble – revives, preserves, creatively interprets and popularizes Bulgarian folk culture with concerts around the world.
The Ensemble will continue its mission, creating a glamorous, folklore furor, which will have the opportunity to touch thousands of fans from all over Bulgaria.
In April, NFE “Philip Koutev” with more than 80 people will realize anniversary concerts outside the capital. The amazing artists have not performed in the cities of the national tour for more than 5 years.
The first concerts are in Shumen – 07.04, Veliko Tarnovo – 08.04 and Ruse on 09.04. And in the months of June and September there will be more concerts in the cities of Varna (14.06), Dobrich (15.06), Burgas (17.06), Sandanski (02.07), Plovdiv (27.09) and Haskovo.
Local professional or amateur ensembles will also take part in the festive concerts of the Ensemble with greetings.
The spectacular performances will take place thanks to the general sponsor of the tour – Kozloduy NPP.

The 70-year history of the National Folklore Ensemble has given us many reasons for pride, and each new performance is a real celebration.
